Tchadian Currency For the most part we had nowhere to go to spend our pay while we were in Tchad. Except for the little we spent on cigarettes, soft drinks, the occasional beer, and some food items to add to our rations, the majority of our pay was transferred to a bank account in Paris. That did make for a nice vacation fund once we returned to France at the end of our tour in Tchad. |
