Along the shores of the Red Sea at low tide. This was the last leg of a week-long forced route march That is Cpl. Logan looking up into the camera. He was a great friend and another person to whom I owe a lot. We were later to serve together in the 2eme R.E.P., where I also became friends with Logan's older brother, Legionnaire Louker. If I remember correctly, both had been members of a British Airborne Regiment for several years before joining the Foreign Legion. Both were great soldiers, and great mates! |
